2010 QUEBEC CITY CELTIC FESTIVAL
From September 10 th to September 17 th, 2010
The Festival Celtique de Québec is pleased to invite you to attend the 2010 Quebec City Celtic Festival at the Morrin Centre, located in the heart of Old Quebec. This year we will be celebrating the 5 th anniversary of the festival, starting with an introduction to Gaelic football on the Plains of Abraham taking place on August 28th, 2010. The main body of the festival will take place from September 10 th to 17th, 2010.
Last year, we welcomed over 6000 revellers across 3 days of festivities. This year we will be recreating that same level of intensity, with more activities and more days of celebration, thanks once more to ourpartners and volunteers.
We are proud to announce our events line-up, which will include a variety of activities for both young and old. The festival will come alive with Celtic music, dancing, workshops and activities that will create a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone! The Celtic communities that settled in this area are an important part of Quebec’s heritage. Through their dancing, music and costumes, the Breton, Irish and Scottish communities will be able to share their common heritage with all the participants of the Quebec City Celtic Festival. We are looking forward to celebrating this rich heritage with you!
