Violon Vert
Founded in the year 2000, the school of Celtic dance Violon Vert is one of the most renowned Irish dance schools in the province of Quebec. Nearly thirty students of all ages form the Violon Vert , a dance group that performs at diverse events and shows. The group has been known to dominate the podiums every year at the F.E.I.S. Canadian Irish Dance competitions in Montreal. In May of 2006 alone, 25 students of the Violon Vert School earned over 50 medals in various dance competitions.
The Violon Vert dance group will captivate your senses with their rhythms of reels and gigs. Square dances, Celtic ballet and tap dance are all part of the musical and visual presentation in which Violon Vert shines. The group invites you to come discover traditional music and dance, the Irish way, at " Et si on dansait en irlandais " on September 2 nd at the Morrin Centre.
